Position Summary

Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified and student-centered Guidance Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with a School Counselor Endorsement (2702) and demonstrate the ability to effectively support students' academic, career, and social-emotional development within a secondary school setting.

Qualifications

Valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with School Counselor Endorsement (2702) (required)
Prior guidance counseling experience preferred
Knowledge of computerized master schedule development (desirable)
Broad knowledge of:
- Testing and evaluation practices
- Individual and group guidance theories and techniques
- Secondary school guidance program design
- Career education, exploration, and placement
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community organizations

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $65,737 - $81,313
