Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will be essential to managing sophisticated investment portfolios and supporting a major financial system upgrade. Your expertise will ensure accurate fund accounting, reconcile complex investment data, and facilitate seamless system transitions. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented professional with a strong background in private investments, willing to take on a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced setting, and bring innovative insights to process improvements. Required Skills: Extensive fund and investment accounting experience, including private equity and hedge funds Hands‑on expertise with Addepar platform for investment data management Proven experience with financial system implementation, including data migration, system testing, and process validation Strong understanding of private funds, capital calls, distributions, valuations, and unrealized gains Detail‑oriented with excellent reconciliation skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies independently Effective communication skills, capable of working with investment, accounting, and technology teams Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in a family or multi‑family office setting Knowledge of complex entity structures such as LLCs, trusts, and partnerships Experience with general ledger platforms beyond Addepar, such as ERP or accounting systems Familiarity with alternative investments, including private credit and real estate Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within an investment or family office environment Demonstrated success in financial system upgrades or implementations Other Requirements: Onsite role in Los Altos, CA, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday onsite and remote Fridays Ability to work independently in a small team environment Availability for a 3-month contract, with potential for extension or transition to a permanent role Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks of offer acceptance This is an exceptional chance to leverage your accounting expertise in a challenging, collaborative environment, making a tangible impact on a family office’s financial operations and system enhancements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
