This position is responsible for leading the analysis, validation, and delivery of Medicare employer and broker reporting. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert for Medicare reporting data, platforms, and business rules, ensuring high‑quality, client‑ready reporting.

Key Accountabilities  

• Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of Medicare reporting for employers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Own complex recurring and ad hoc Medicare reports and data feeds, including high‑cost claimant, utilization, financial, medical and pharmacy reports.
• Perform complex analysis of healthcare data, including medical, pharmacy, eligibility, provider, and financial information.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for Medicare reporting platforms (e.g., enrollment & claims systems and dashboards).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness through robust validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
• Investigate and resolve complex data issues impacting client deliverables or financial reporting.
• Partner with business, IT, and vendor teams to design, enhance, and modernize Medicare reporting solutions.
• Lead process improvements and automation efforts to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Develop and maintain documentation for report logic, data definitions, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other analysts, setting standards for quality and best practices.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
• 3+ years of work experience beyond degree
• Experience coding with SQL
• Excel 

Preferred Qualifications  

• SAS
• Familiarity with reporting platforms and vendor‑supported analytics tools.
• Experience working with health plans

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite, on average, 3 days per week. We are open to candidates located near one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN, Madison, WI

The full salary grade for this position is $56,600 - $97,000. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $56,600 - $84,840. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.  In addition to compensation, Medica offers a generous total rewards package that includes competitive medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services and many other benefits to support our employees.
