Serve with compassion. Be the difference.Job SummaryThe position is responsible for patient assessment, psychological testing and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Provides individual, couples, family and group behavioral treatment, patient and community, and student education.AccountabilitiesProvide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy. Utilize independent decision-making in plan of care for therapy services provided. Conduct psychological testing and assessment for designated psychiatric patients.Provide timely professional documentation of psychological testing reports, treatment plans and progress notes.Participate in the training/teaching of students and residents.Works in conjunction with treating psychiatrist and makes appropriate referrals to other professionals or community services as needed.Actively participate in development of psychological services for the Department of Psychiatry, to include community outreach and educationSupervisory/Management ResponsibilityThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.Minimum RequirementsDoctorate in Clinical psychology, PhD or PsyD1 year of Post-doctoral experience in medical settingRequired Certifications/Registrations/LicensesSouth Carolina License to Practice Clinical PsychologyIn Lieu Of The Above Minimum RequirementsPsyD is the equivalent to PhD. Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements. In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
