Marathon Staffing is seeking candidates for, Assembler positions available immediately in New London NC!

In this role, you will help support daily production operations by performing a variety of manufacturing and assembly tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and organize workstations before production begins.
• Ensure all necessary components, materials, and supplies are available for production.
• Assemble products according to written instructions and established quality standards.
• Safely operate hand tools and other production equipment.
• Stack, cover, label, and band finished products following company procedures.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with lumber (preferred).
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Experience using hand tools and production equipment.
• The ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Basic English communication skills, including the ability to understand verbal and written instructions.

• Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
• Pay increases based on experience and performance.
• Additional wage increase upon transition to full-time employment.
