Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 32-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit focused on an adult and older adult population. The role involves caring for trauma patients and managing Heparin drips as well as all acute medications as ordered. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts and geriatric chairs.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Documented experience in medical telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or prior NICHE training is a plus.
