Senior Staff Accountant

South Hackensack, NJ | Flexible Schedule Theater Outsource is working with a well-establishednational supplier and manufacturer serving the entertainment industry to find adetail-oriented Staff Accountant. This position supports daily accountingoperations, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internalcontrols. What You’ll Do Supportdaily accounting operations across general accounting, accountsreceivable, and accounts payable Prepareaccount schedules and bank reconciliations for month-end close Reconcilesupporting schedules to the financial statements Compilesales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory reports Assistwith external CPA reviews and lender field examinations Preparemonthly sales tax reports for review and filing Assistwith monthly sales commission calculations Helpmaintain documented accounting procedures and internal controls Supportthe annual budgeting process Developtraining materials and videos covering departmental procedures Providebackup accounting coverage when needed What We’re Looking For Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting with 2-3 years of relevant experience, or equivalenthands-on accounting experience Experiencein manufacturing, wholesale distribution, installation, rental, or asimilar business environment preferred Workingknowledge of accounting software Experiencewith Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus Exposureto cost accounting, construction accounting, or prevailing-wage projectsis helpful Stronganalytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Consistentattention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Initiative,reliability, and a willingness to learn Abilityto communicate and collaborate across departments Schedule and Benefits 37.5-hourworkweek Full-time,part-time, and flexible scheduling options may be available Medicalinsurance 401(k)with company matching Disability,life insurance, and additional benefit options Theater Outsource is an equal opportunity employer.
