Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse is needed in McKinney, Texas. This position involves working in a surgical unit specializing in open heart procedures, requiring specialized skills in cardiovascular surgery. The role supports the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of operating room experience, with experience in neuro and orthopedic/spine procedures preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has 7 surgical suites with approximately 45 staff members, including RNs, CSTs, and ancillary support staff. Experience in neuro and ortho/spine surgeries is essential, with trauma center experience considered a plus. The position involves working closely with the surgical team in a high-volume cardiovascular and trauma environment. Call requirements are about 10 to 15 days per month, applicable only for CV (Cardiovascular) positions.
