About the role As a research scientist focused on cellular physiology at Nudge, you will: Develop methods for characterizing the mechanisms of action of ultrasound on neural tissue Design and execute experiments in vitro to determine the impact of ultrasound on cellular properties, activity, and plasticity Explore ultrasound parameter optimization for driving cellular activity and plasticity Translate in vitro findings to inform human neuromodulation studies About you We are looking for research scientists of all levels but regardless of your career level, you should have: A PhD or postdoc in neuroscience, molecular/cellular biology, biomedical engineering or a similar engineering discipline Exceptional proficiency in neuronal cell culture, including human iPSC‑derived neurons, and slice methods Experience applying advanced microscopy techniques (e.g., two‑photon calcium imaging), electrophysiology, or other neural recording techniques to characterize cellular and synaptic physiology Experience developing or using genetic tools (viral transduction, CRISPR‑based approaches, etc.) for molecular manipulations in neural tissue A demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution High integrity and strong professional judgement A high level of independent thinking and relentless execution approach #J-18808-Ljbffr Nudge
