JFSA's Caring at Home Department has an immediate opening for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide occupational therapy treatments and services to home care clients under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist in accordance with the Plan of Care. Services are provided under a physician's order and in accordance with home health agency regulations, federal and state laws, and agency policies. Weekday availability preferred. Duties & Responsibilities Provides services and education/training to clients in their homes following the established Plan of Care and the specific functions identified in the therapy care plan. Participates in interdisciplinary activities per Agency guidelines. Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and co‑workers. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job. Performs job in compliance with agency policies and procedures and professional and community standards. Demonstrates awareness of, follows all safety policies and procedures, and adheres to all recommended safe work practices. Also contributes to the control of hazards in specified area of responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be a graduate of a college‑level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Licenses / Certifications Current occupational therapy assistant license as required by state(s) of practice. CPR certification. Current Ohio Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
