As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access permissions, and report concerns involving restricted areas, materials, and/or after-hours activity.
• Support access control, alarm response, and incident reporting functions while following Allied Universal standards and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
