Preconstruction Coordinator / Estimator
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the preconstruction team with document management.
- Support the procurement and award of subcontracts.
- Perform project quantity takeoffs and assist with subcontractor evaluations.
- Complete self-perform takeoffs for demolition, concrete, carpentry, and drywall scopes.
- Utilize estimating and takeoff software to prepare accurate estimates.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely preconstruction deliverables.
- Maintain organized project documentation throughout the preconstruction process.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or a related construction role.
- Proficiency with estimating and quantity takeoff software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and project coordination.
- Experience preparing RFIs and supporting subcontractor procurement.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
