This role supports residents independence and quality of life by transporting them to scheduled appointments, community outings, shopping trips, and other activities. The driver ensures passenger safety, assists residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle when needed, and maintains a positive, respectful experience for all riders./ppYou are excited about this opportunity because you will/pulliPicks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities and appointments where transportation is needed./liliComplete a safety check of the applicable vehicle, (i.e., car or bus) before transporting residents to and from scheduled activities and appointments./liliAccurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation./liliMaintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out./liliTransport vehicle(s) to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on vehicle(s) as scheduled by supervisor./liliNotify supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions./liliImmediately notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents./liliMake miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary./liliMaintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition./liliAccomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor./liliAttend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified./liliPerform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh school education required.
