About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving the growth strategy and leading the evolution of sales capability development. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening prospecting effectiveness, sales skills, and business development best practices across the U.S. hunter team. This includes leading and developing the business development organization, creating a culture of accountability and high performance, and ensuring the team is focused on new customer acquisition and revenue growth. The role also involves establishing and maintaining executive-level relationships, driving the X-Selling initiative, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to support successful customer acquisition and long-term retention. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced business degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing growth strategies, leading high-performing business development teams, and entering new markets. Experience in strategic planning, competitive intelligence, M&A, and developing integrated customer roadmaps is essential. The role requires a commercial leader with advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and a strong ability to leverage data and technology for revenue growth.
