Automotive Technician

We own state‑of‑the‑art equipment and facility across five locations. The Automotive Technician position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while following dealership, manufacturer, and Gaynors Automotive standards. COMPENSATION: $35‑$45/hr – varies depending on experience. Sign‑on bonus ranges from $2,500‑$5,000 based on ASE certifications and mechanic experience. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience. Performs work as outlined on the Multi‑point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy. Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals, which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers. Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle running in good condition; properly documents all recommendations in the customer file. Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager. Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications. Mid Level Automotive Technician – Lake Oswego, OR: Competitive base pay, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), certification reimbursement, paid vacations. Minimum qualifications: 1‑year automotive experience, valid driver's license, at least 18 years of age, legal US work authorization. Automotive Mechanic / Reconditioning Technician – Trucks &SUVs: Hourly pay $20‑28 DOE. Responsibilities include inspecting inventory, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing suspension, brake, steering and drivetrain work, and minimizing vehicle turnaround time. Qualifications: 3+ years experience on domestic trucks/SUVs, strong diagnostic skills, tool ownership, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, dealership recon experience preferred. Remote Fleet Administrator – Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance: Remote role managing vehicle maintenance schedules, tracking compliance, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key responsibilities: schedule and coordinate routine maintenance, maintain records, manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, assist drivers, process invoices, generate reports, and use fleet management software. Requirements include proven experience in fleet administration, strong organizational and communication skills, high school diploma (or higher), and familiarity with DOT regulations.
