Summary A Proposal Coordinator is central to a company’s business development efforts, ensuring proposals are well‑organized, persuasive, and compliant. The role combines writing, editing, and team coordination skills, making it critical for securing new business opportunities and maintaining professional standards in proposal submissions. Description Oversee the entire proposal process, from initial concept to final submission. This includes analyzing RFPs and RFIs, developing a detailed proposal schedule, setting deadlines, and tracking milestones to ensure timely completion. Collect and organize content from subject matter experts and writers, ensuring all sections are coherent, persuasive, and compliant with submission requirements. Facilitate communication among internal teams and external partners, including consultants, architects, or clients. Lead kick‑off meetings, debrief sessions, and review meetings to gather feedback and incorporate revisions. Ensure proposals meet all RFP/RFI requirements, are accurate, and adhere to company standards. Job Requirements Experience Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities; excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with proposal development processes, RFP/RFI compliance, and project coordination. Education Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Location McLean, VA.
