Campground Attendant

The Campground Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of guest sites and common areas, and occasional park maintenance assistance. This is a SEASONAL, full-time or part-time position that reports to the Park Services Supervisor. Duties & Responsibilities Facility Duties Timely trash pick-up around the park, operate trash compactor Prepare sites and golf carts for guest arrivals (cleaning, wiping down, charging, etc.) Power wash areas such as pool deck and café Clean all pavilions, café common areas/eating spaces, and bathhouses Complete waterpark clean up (deck, trash, cabanas, keeping chairs/tables orderly) Clean all decks, patios, windows, and doors throughout the park Assist with landscaping maintenance, including watering plants Site Duties (lodge and RV/tent sites) Clean picnic tables and fire rings between use Pick up all trash at the sites Assist guest relations with delivering firewood to guests Assist with cabins and lodging cleaning as needed Atmosphere Control Maintain overall aesthetics of the park Report maintenance issues in public areas Education / Training / Experience Customer service experience preferred Qualifications / Requirements Basic computer skills Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment Strong work ethic and positive attitude Availability for flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings Capable of working with minimal supervision Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, vendors, coworkers, and management Essential Physical Demands Lift up to 50 lbs Stand and remain in a stationary position Move throughout the park regularly Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl continuously Manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift Work exposed to outdoor weather conditions Benefits Vacation discounts for park guests and families Daily pay Employee appreciation (free lunch, shout‑outs) 401(k) match Medical, dental, vision coverage Pet insurance Northgate provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
