About This Role We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center. Highlights Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience Location: Johnson City, NY Facility: UHS Wilson Medical Center Department/Unit: Intensive Care Unit Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12-hour shifts; 7pm-7am nights, every other weekend / 24hr and 36hr shifts open Sign-On Bonus: Up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria What You’ll Do Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit needs Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management Safely administer medications according to UHS policies Support effective resource utilization, including staffing, time, and supplies Comply with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council, and improvement initiatives Contribute to peer review, evidence‑based practice, and quality improvement Provide support and guidance to new employees and students Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator responsibilities when assigned Requirements Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred Licenses & Certifications Current New York State Registered Nurse License required CCRN certification preferred Additional skills certifications as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire for employees working 24+ hours/week Discounted childcare through Bright Horizons Voluntary benefits like pet insurance, legal services, and identity theft protection PTO starts accruing from day one 403(b) retirement plan with company match Access to financial advisors and wellness rewards #J-18808-Ljbffr
