About the Role
Maintainer is looking for a Paint Prep Production Worker to help prepare equipment and components for painting. This role includes sanding, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Sand, grind, chip, and wash surfaces to prepare for painting
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Prepare parts and units based on the production schedule
- Follow blueprints and basic instructions
- Ensure work meets quality standards before moving forward
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety guidelines
- Move between workstations as needed
- Support team members and help maintain a productive work environment
- Participate in process improvements and suggest better ways of working
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or relevant experience)
- Experience using power tools is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in different positions
- Comfortable working around equipment, noise, and dust
$16.63 - $20.51 per hour
