Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join a 504 A/B compounding pharmacy specializing in bespoke pharmaceutical preparations—personalized compounds tailored to individual patient needs.

9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

This is an oversight and verification-focused position. The pharmacist will not perform hands-on compounding, but will oversee and verify technician-prepared non-sterile compounds.

The ideal candidate must have a recent background and experience in non-sterile compounding and be committed to excellent attendance.

Important: Attendance is a major priority for the client. Candidates must live within approximately 40 minutes of the facility. Candidates living more than 40 minutes away will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities
Ensure compounded non-sterile preparations are accurate and comply with master formula worksheets.
Implement and follow SOPs and compounding policies to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Ensure cleaning and garbing procedures are performed according to company policies.
Perform pharmaceutical calculations and complete required documentation.
Operate production equipment accurately and according to established procedures.
Ensure appropriate compounding and aseptic techniques are followed.
Prepare work areas thoroughly prior to production.
Operate and monitor technical and computerized equipment while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure the quality, purity, and potency of compounded medications.
Conduct quality-control testing and inspections to verify compounded preparations.
Stay current on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies.
Participate in ongoing learning and professional development related to compounding pharmacy practices.
Oversee and verify technician-compounded preparations.

Required Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required.
Recent pharmacy experience required.
Non-Sterile Compounding experience required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safety.
Reliable attendance is essential.

Must live within approximately 40 minutes of the facility.
