Job Description AVP of Annuity Internal Sales – Omaha, Nebraska. The leader of the Annuity Internal Sales Desk is responsible for setting strategic direction, utilizing extensive knowledge of the annuity and mutual fund industry, and ensuring that sales processes align with corporate and division goals. Responsibilities Lead the Annuity Internal Sales Desk and set the strategic direction for the channel. Act as the liaison between the desk and external sales leadership. Provide daily oversight to regional sales desk managers to ensure sales activity goals are met. Communicate and reinforce current department goals and initiatives through meetings, informal communications, and supervisor coaching. Ensure proper supervision of all registered representatives and that the team operates in alignment with written supervisory procedures. Monitor license maintenance and review or decline resolution requests as appropriate. Provide oversight for incentive‑based contests and the incentive compensation program, ensuring alignment with business goals. Establish and monitor quarterly and annual budgets for the desk, including salaries, overrides, travel, and training expenses. Enforce current compliance requirements and provide managers with tools to manage their teams efficiently. Maintain a visible presence and be available to the entire desk for guidance and support. Monitor and guide supervisors in the coaching program, addressing compliance issues, sales skill development, motivation, and leadership. Lead ongoing training and development of new and current managers. Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and recommend salary and incentive awards. Provide development opportunities and maintain a culture of continuous learning. Delegate important work appropriately and counsel employees on performance and behavior. Recognize employee accomplishments. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of sales management experience within the financial services industry, preferably with variable annuities and mutual funds. FINRA Series 6/7 and 63 Licenses preferred. FINRA Series 24 or 26, Life Insurance and Variable Products licensed. What Makes You Stand Out Ability to motivate, develop, and direct staff. Base Pay Range The base pay range represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
