Project Engineer

Job Description The Project Engineer will provide technical and leadership to the Project Manager in support of Superintendents and field foreman on all projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Makes decisions both small and large for small and large utility projects Document Control’s experience as this position maintains the schedule, change order, purchases for along with subcontractor’s documentations required. Responsible for uploading all information regarding contracts, including change orders and adjustments. Monitors contract compliance for each job Requires excellent communication skills and ability to resolve Participates in difficult issues or start-up. Safety among peers, subordinates and supervisors. Additional duties as assigned to support Company and Management Team EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS A high school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s in engineering or construction management preferred but not required. Primavera scheduling or similar scheduling software preferred. Accubid or similar estimating software experience preferred. Spectrum program, or equivalent, experience preferred. Possess or ability to obtain a valid class C California driver's license. A Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar type construction environment required. Previous experience working with collection matters and lien releases.
