NOC Administrator

Working remotely on a contract basis, the NOC Administrator will manage event management using alert systems, troubleshoot alerts with Runbooks and SOPs, and assist with user account management while adhering to ITIL best practices during the 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm PST, including required weekend work. Key responsibilities Oversee event management and alert troubleshooting using tools like BigPanda Facilitate communication and collaboration among customer service representatives and engineers through ChatOps in Slack Assist with user account management and basic security tasks, including guiding users on ticket creation and SOPs Required qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT or NOC environments Experience with ChatOps and customer service support Familiarity with ServiceNow, Confluence, and JIRA Basic knowledge of IP concepts and Active Directory A degree from a four-year college (BA or BS) is preferred
