Summary: The Senior Accountant Advisor works closely with the owner, staff and clients to facilitate completion of all components of our consulting and tax engagements. The Senior is responsible for overseeing reviewing workpapers of other staff, preparing client files for partner review, interfacing with clients, participating in presentations to client and other tasks as necessary. Preparation of tax individual, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, 990s as well as multi state returns (more than just a handful are recommended) are required. We use Ultratax and the other Creative Solutions suite of products. The Advisor may be responsible for regular meetings with clients to fulfill our obligations, future business planning and regular tax projections. This is a great opportunity for an accountant that wants to work on more than just tax returns during the year. We offer new client bonuses.

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or eligible preferred. • A solid understanding of tax research and regulations along with at least six years of experience in public accounting. • A service and goal oriented mentality. • Ability to work independently and address issues or questions with engagement staff and interface with client. • Strong time management, organizational abilities, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills. Auditing skills would be a plus. Overtime during tax seasonal and occasional points depending on workload may be required. We offer flexibility for some remote work, depending on the time of year. 

Accountability to the clients and your other team members is a must. We have a focus on brand promise and there is a requirement to communicate with clients promptly and with kindness.
