DSP Direct Support Professional

Perfect Placement Home Care LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our growing team in Cleveland, OH. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

Support community integration by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and outings

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed

Foster independence and skill-building through positive reinforcement and encouragement

Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

Genuine compassion and commitment to person-centered care
