HVAC Maintenance Tech III (FCS)

HVAC Technician

Qualifications:

• High school graduate/GED and/or completion of a vocational course or any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities;
• Five (5) years of experience in HVAC
• A journeyman's license in HVAC from the Commonwealth of Virginia required
• A master license in HVAC from the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred
• Excellent knowledge of standard practices and terminology within the trades of HVAC; skill in the use of appropriate tools; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to work independently and give leadership to other employees; dependable and thorough with all responsibilities

Pay Rate:

Facilities Maintenance Salary Scale Grade-C9 (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment:

Full time / 12 months / 245 days

Start Date:

This position is effective with the 2026-2027 school year
