We service Ace Hardware retailers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California, Nevada, and Southern Oregon. Drivers experience a variety of driving conditions, including metropolitan traffic, mountain passes, rural highways, and coastal routes.This is a regional driving position with an average workday of 10 to 14 hours. Most routes include 1 to 2 layovers each week, depending on business needs. Drivers are responsible for unloading freight at each store using a liftgate and material handling equipment, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.Eligibility and RequirementsValid CDL with hazardous materials endorsement (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Minimum of 1 year Class A tractor/trailer on-road driving experience preferredApplicants with less than 1 year of experience may be considered and could qualify for an accelerated comprehensive training programNo suspensions, revocations, or convictions of reckless driving in the past 3 yearsWe live our values - W.E.L.I.G.H.T (Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility, and Teamwork).
