We're looking for captains to join us seasonally at Theodora Beach Club! To apply please share a cover letter outlining why you'd be a good fit for this position!
This summer the Theodora team is hosting tasting menu dinners, outdoors, on Governors Island. This opportunity is for Friday and Saturday event service on the island.
We are seeking strong, passionate, and warm servers to join our team. This role is a perfect fit for a server with both high volume and fine dining experience who seeks the balance between elegant service and genuine, welcoming hospitality. You must be available Friday and Saturdays consistently until August 29th. Please note this position is seasonal and ends August 29th. It is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part time hospitality role, or a former server looking for a unique temporary position.
Professional Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a serving role
- Interest in natural wine and cocktails
- Full and flexible availability on Fridays and Saturdays
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time [over 7 hours]
- Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds steadily
- Be comfortable bending, sitting, walking extended distances including up and down flights of stairs, and moving.
- Be comfortable working outside in direct sunlight, in hot temperatures, and in rain.
