Serve as manager on duty, manage cash handling and ensure accountability. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies, standards, and safety procedures. Conduct shift management meetings and use required tools, forms, and logs to document results and take corrective action when needed. Deploy crew members during a shift, provide exemplary customer service, and utilize the reward and recognition program. Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts, promotions, and time‑clock overrides. Ensure the restaurant’s cleanliness and that facilities are in good working order. Complete other duties as assigned. Essential Functions & Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, twist, and reach overhead or below the waist. Navigate stairs, move quickly, and stay on your feet throughout the shift. Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and communicate clearly. Work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients like oil and flour. Maintain a clean, safe restaurant while following all food safety and company procedures. Occasionally drive on behalf of the Company for work‑related purposes (e.g., picking up product for the restaurant) when required by business needs. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. Valid, state‑issued driver's license. Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs. Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for work‑related functions and training. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing. Self‑driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems. Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
