Key Responsibilities\n

• Work directly with clients in both office and community settings, providing assessment and therapeutic interventions.

• Conduct evidence-based screenings and arrange for more comprehensive assessments when necessary.

• Create and implement integrated care plans that ensure coordination between clients, their families, and other healthcare providers.

• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative case discussions to foster an environment of shared learning and improvement.

• Monitor progress and maintain a structured caseload, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Assist with crisis intervention as needed, always focusing on ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.

• Generate timely clinical documentation and reports in line with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.

• Stay updated on best practice methodologies in social work and mental health to continuously enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support students in New Haven schools who are dealing with mental health challenges. This includes children and adolescents who may exhibit signs of anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or trauma. You will witness firsthand how your interventions lead to positive changes in the lives of these young individuals, helping them navigate their educational experiences while managing their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Connecticut.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
