Start Date: ASAP — Target 6-8 weeks\n
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Onsite for first 90 days | Hybrid potential (up to 2 days remote) thereafter\n
Patient Volume: 10-12 patient encounters per day\n
Setting: Outpatient Psychiatry — Multiple clinic locations\n
Patient Population: Primarily adult with some child and adolescent overflow\n
EMR: Valent (100% behavioral health-specific system)\n
Clinic Locations: Monroeville, Meadowlands, McCanless, and Shadyside\n

\n RVU Bonus: Guaranteed base with RVU incentive structure\n

\n ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES \n

\n This full-time Adult Psychiatry opportunity offers a well-supported, primarily adult-focused outpatient practice within an established behavioral health system spanning multiple Pittsburgh-area clinic locations. The position involves direct collaboration with a team of NPs and PAs in a dynamic, procedure-enabled environment dedicated to delivering innovative, evidence-based mental health care.\n

\n Clinical Responsibilities \n

\n
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients
\n
• Provide psychotherapy services as part of individualized, patient-centered treatment plans
\n
• Collaborate with and supervise NPs and PAs across clinic locations
\n
• Manage primarily adult psychiatric patients with some child and adolescent overflow
\n
• Option to participate in advanced treatment modalities including Ketamine infusion therapy and TMS procedures
\n
• 10-12 patient encounters per day with flexible, structured appointment times
\n

\n Appointment Structure \n

\n
• Initial Evaluations: 60 minutes (flexible based on clinical need)
\n
• Follow-Up Visits: 20 minutes (flexible based on clinical need)
\n

\n Payer Mix \n

• Commercial, Private Pay, Medicare, and Medicaid
\n

\n REQUIREMENTS \n

\n
• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Adult Psychiatry
\n
• Active Pennsylvania medical license is a plus
\n
• Must be independently practicing — no fellows or residents considered
\n
• Clean malpractice and license history required
\n
