Community Living Center Registered Nurse (RN)

Duties

The Community Living Center (CLC) Registered Nurse (RN) executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex resident care.

• Collaborates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.
• Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to improve the care for a group of residents.
• Provides peers with formal or informal constructive feedback for improvement.
• Supports colleagues and other nurses through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality nursing care.
• Fosters a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of health care professionals.
• Evaluates outcomes of evidence-based decisions and practice changes for individuals, groups, and populations.
• Responsible for the documented outcomes at the program or service level.
• Collaborates with the Minimum Data Set (MDS) coordinator to ensure accuracy of the Resource Utilization Group (RUG) score.

Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Work Schedule: 12 Hour shifts, with every other weekends and holidays. May be required to work other shifts, be on call, work weekends and/or holidays as patient care and needs of the service require. Should operational needs dictate, candidates must be willing to work within other units (including community based outpatient clinics, for example) to assist and support continuation of the provision of care/services.
