A **Dialysis Registered Nurse** provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RN's are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
**Schedule** : Potential full-time shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts starting at 5am and are set upon hiring; Sundays off; no overnight shifts
**Compensation** : Pay ranges from $42-$48 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience

**Responsibilities**
**What You Can Expect:**
+ Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
+ Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
+ Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
+ Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
+ Administer and chart all prescribed medications
+ Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
+ Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
+ Document required patient education efforts
+ Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
+ Assist in medication inventory maintenance
+ Lead a small patient care team
+ Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
+ Additional tasks as requested
**Qualifications**

**Education/Training:**
+ Accredited nursing degree required
+ Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
+ DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
