Call Center Representative

Mississippi State University is hiring a Call Center Representative. The role involves providing front-line IT support to the university community by troubleshooting technology problems, managing service tickets, assisting with phone support, and helping integrate various IT systems within the academic environment. Highlights Support IT issues for faculty, staff, students, retirees, and affiliates at MSU. Use TeamDynamix ITSM ticketing system and CSpire ACD phone system. Provide polite, professional phone support and elevate issues as needed. Oversee and train Call Center student workers. Manage IT-related accounts and assist with service forms. Require high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year customer support experience. Preferred experience includes IT work and academic environment familiarity. Strong interpersonal, communication, keyboarding, and customer service skills needed. Salary grade 10 with salary ranges detailed in the Staff Compensation Structure.
