Position: Manufacturing Engineer (Fabrication Focus)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering , or 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, machining, or paint finishing .
• Understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, and quality processes.
• 3D CAD experience required; Pro-E/Creo preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement and develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes within the fabrication function, including lasers, brake presses, saws, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve fabrication processes, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing methods, machine utilization, material flow, tooling, and staffing requirements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Lead improvement projects and coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, and Engineering teams.
• Support capital equipment evaluation and develop economic justifications.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
