Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all production scheduling, customer contact scheduling, and raw material planning activities. Act as primary liaison between customer, production, shipping/receiving, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of quality product on a JIT (Just-In-Time) basis while meeting all customer-specific and inventory requirements.Responsibilities:Supports Magna Operational Principles and Employee Charter criteria within context and position's scope of work supports EBM’s ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, IATF System, as well as Magna Safety and Magna Environmental Program requirementsSupervise and coordinate daily activities of Production Schedulers, Customer Contact Schedulers, and Raw Materials Planners Coordinate JIT product shipments against customer releases and purchase orders Oversee customer communication including portals, special requests, and escalation of risks Ensure alignment between production schedules, material availability, and customer demand Manage raw material planning activities including coil steel, purchased components, and inbound deliveries Monitor inventory levels and ensure targets are met through analysis of shortages/overages Lead coordination of new program launches and program build-outs to ensure timely delivery Monitor customer delivery/service performance and implement corrective actions as needed Monitor supplier delivery performance and ensure material availability supports production requirements Participate in and oversee physical inventories, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives Attend and lead daily production and planning meetings Support Receiving operations as needed for material flow and inventory management Develop, train, and evaluate team members within planning and scheduling functions Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, inventory control, and material flow Housekeeping and other activities as assigned ​Qualifications:5+ years of experience in production scheduling, material planning, or inventory control in a manufacturing environmentAutomotive industry experience preferredExperience with JIT inventory flow and scheduling systems requiredPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of material planning, supplier coordination, and production processesAbility to work overtime as requiredSkills:Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP/MRP systems)Ability to access and analyze data from computer systems and networksStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood math and analytical skillsAbility to lead and develop a teamStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBA degree preferredAPICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification preferredAPICS, MRP/MRP II (Material Release Point) experienceBenefits:Low-Cost Health Insurance Low-Cost Dental Insurance + Vision Insurance401(k) Matching Employee Profit Sharing PlanPaid VacationPaid HolidaysParental LeaveNursing RoomTuition Reimbursement and Online Career Development with Free Tuition Referral Program - Up to $1,500 per Skill Trade ReferralOnsite cafeteria Serving Hot Breakfast and LunchSelf-Checkout Snacks and Drinks Market Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramAnnual Employee and Family EventsAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
