Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across a blend of elementary and middle school settings. A dedicated professional is needed to provide counseling services on a contract basis for the upcoming academic years. This role will begin in mid-August 2025 and run through late May 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting difference. You'll work approximately 16 hours each week, serving across five campuses with a caseload estimated at about 30 students. Your expertise will help foster a positive, nurturing environment and empower young learners through life's challenges.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid LPC license in Texas required
• Previous experience as a school counselor, especially with elementary and middle school students, strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills for interactions with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and travel between multiple school sites
• Passion for student advocacy and supporting diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling to students individually and in group settings
• Assess student needs, developing tailored strategies to enhance well-being and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement intervention and support plans
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school and district policies
• Contribute to a positive school climate through proactive programming and crisis support
