Job Details Location: Sparta, GA – Hancock State Prison (31087). Full‑time day shift. Travel percentage: short‑term/travel assignment. Education level: High School Diploma/GED. Travel LPNs assigned to Georgia earn up to $1,740per week, including a non‑taxed weekly stipend. Position Full‑time Day Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Hancock State Prison, Sparta, GA. Responsibilities Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice. Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff. Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Qualifications Georgia LPN license or ability to obtain a license. Compact licensure preferred. Must live 50miles or more from the facility. At least two (2) years of LPN experience. Open availability to travel throughout the state of Georgia as needed. Current CPR certification. Corrections experience not required, but preferred. Previous travel nurse experience preferred. Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
