    • Work alongside experienced utility attorneys and business leaders on complex legal and regulatory matters.
    • Enjoy significant responsibility early in your career, including management of your own caseload and regulatory matters.
    • Be part of a collaborative legal department that is involved in every major business initiative across the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Handle legal and regulatory matters before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and appellate courts.

    • Provide legal support and strategic guidance to business units on regulatory compliance and emerging legal developments.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel on ongoing regulatory matters.
    • Represent the company in mediation, litigation, and customer dispute proceedings.
    • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting electric utilities and advise clients accordingly.
    • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting strict regulatory and litigation deadlines.

What You'll Need:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
    • 5 years of in-house or law firm legal experience in utility regulation.
    • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and in good standing.
    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels of an organization.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn new subject matters.
    • Prior experience with state public utility regulation, administrative law, or regulatory proceedings is preferred.
    • Electric utility industry experience is helpful but not required.
    • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
