Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures lab. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be available for on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and uphold the mission and values of the organization.
• Scrub in for Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures.
• Pan heart catheters and ensure high-quality image evaluation for accurate diagnoses.
• Perform special procedures radiography using appropriate equipment according to departmental standards.
• Maintain procedural areas in a neat and orderly manner throughout the day, with a focus on preparation at the end of each shift.
• Ensure equipment and tables are cleaned and ready for the next patient and restock materials as needed.
• Complete examinations within the designated timeframe.
• Report for duty promptly, dressed in scrubs and prepared for patient care.
• Review requisitions for pertinent information and any special requests.
• Position and prepare patients, setting up equipment for all procedures.
• Scrub and assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Report any unusual reactions or conditions to nursing staff.
• Exercise judgment in providing information based on situational needs and demonstrate sensitivity to individual and organizational concerns.
• Be open to rotating between various shifts or departments to meet patient care needs.
• Perform other duties consistent with this role as needed.

Job Requirements

• Current NH ARRT license required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Completion of a certificate or degree in radiologic technology.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered to meet these qualifications.

Additional Information

Orientation of up to 16 hours may be unpaid. Please note that up to 3 shifts may be canceled during a 13-week contract.
