- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating asphalt paving equipment on highway or large-scale projects
- Must have reliable transportation
- Proven ability to operate pavers, rollers, and associated equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, mat thickness, compaction, and quality control
- Operate asphalt paving equipment to place, level, and finish pavement according to project specifications
- Monitor asphalt placement, mat thickness, and compaction to maintain high-quality results
- Coordinate effectively with rollers, screed operators, and lutemen to optimize production efficiency
- Perform daily equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor troubleshooting
- Adhere strictly to highway safety regulations, traffic control plans, and job site protocols
