DATTCO currently has a full-time Mechanic opening in our School Bus Fleet Maintenance department.
DATTCO was founded in 1924 and is a third generation, family-owned transportation company. DATTCO is now New England's largest private passenger transportation company. - Compensation of $22.00-38.38/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
- Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
- Complete required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
- Make road calls
- Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.
- Minimum of one-year experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
- Mechanical aptitude
- Driver's license
- Possess the physical strength to safely perform all required tasks
