Primary Care Physician

Role Description The Primary Care Physician at Client provides comprehensive outpatient care to patients of diverse ages and backgrounds in an on-site clinical setting in Sarasota, FL. In this full-time role, the physician conducts routine and acute care visits, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care services, and follow-up appointments. Daily responsibilities include taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with specialists as needed. The physician documents all encounters in the medical record, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and collaborates with the care team to ensure timely, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Primary Care and Family Medicine, with the ability to provide ongoing, comprehensive care to patients.
• Experience in Urgent Care and general Medicine, including management of common acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Background as a Primary Care Physician, with strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Valid MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of Florida and active board certification or board eligibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience using electronic health records and comfort with basic clinical technology and documentation standards.
• Commitment to providing equitable, patient-centered care and serving the needs of diverse communities.
