Maintenance Team Leader

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinate daily maintenance team operations, including work order management, safety practices, productivity, and materials logistics
• Perform hands-on maintenance duties and actively participate in completing tasks alongside team members
• Provide direct support, coaching, and on-the-job training to develop technician skills and improve performance
• Foster strong working relationships to promote team cohesion and ensure customer satisfaction
• Lead safety initiatives, including new hire safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance work
• Partner with Operational Managers to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency
• Other duties as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security clearance.
• Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years' experience in airport maintenance services.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Regularly required to: stand, sit, walk, use hands/fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
• Frequently required to: climb ladders, balance, and work in confined spaces
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Work performed in outdoor airport environments, including ramps and around aircraft
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces such as baggage conveyor systems
• Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Strong hand-eye coordination is essential
