Commercial Carpenter

$22.00–$28.00/hr | ️ Full-Time Opportunity

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in commercial or residential carpentry, including framing, drywall, doors, windows, and finish work. In this role, you’ll build, install, and repair structures and fixtures in commercial buildings while ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials for walls, floors, partitions, and roofs
• Install doors, windows, drywall, cabinetry, trim, and finish carpentry components
• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Ensure all work meets code, safety standards, and project specifications
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors onsite
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all OSHA safety protocols

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry
• Proficiency with carpentry tools, equipment, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
