You arrive to a clean, safety-first production floor and prep for startup. You bring injection molding presses online, dial in auxiliary and secondary equipment, and verify parameters. As production ramps, you monitor cycle times, push to optimal throughput, and listen for the subtle cues that signal a needed tweak. You document process settings, any parameter changes, and water diagrams so the next setup runs even smoother. Throughout the shift, you perform and verify visual and dimensional inspections, resolve non-conformances immediately, and alert Quality to any issues. When conditions shift, you make thoughtful adjustments that protect safety, elevate quality, and maintain efficiency.

• Start up, diagnose, and troubleshoot injection molding presses, auxiliary systems, and secondary production equipment with a relentless focus on safety and quality.
• Keep machines running at optimal cycle times; proactively correct malfunctions and process drift.
• Record process settings, process changes, and water diagrams to support repeatable setups and future production runs.
• Complete timely visual/dimensional checks; correct non-conformances immediately and notify the Quality team of any issues.
• Continuously refine parameters to improve efficiency and ensure consistent, compliant output.

• At least 5 years of hands-on injection molding experience (or experience as a Process Technician).
• Working knowledge of plastics and resins, including PVC.
• Strong understanding of injection molds and tooling.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary technical training/certification preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, injection molding operations, tool/die/mold setup, and blueprint reading.

• Injection molding machines, including Engel equipment.
