- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
- Oversee customer invoicing, including billing for services and reimbursement of company-related expenses.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and tax-related support.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with audits and financial reconciliations as needed.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables and past-due invoices.
- Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as assigned.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and help drive team performance and development.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including staff-level responsibilities.
- Strong experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and fixed assets.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity.
- Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis.
