Quality Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our QC operations and ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and effective laboratory processes. This role will provide leadership to the QC team, support continuous improvement, and maintain the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all Quality Control (QC) operations to ensure products consistently meet company quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to the Quality Control team while driving continuous improvement and achieving departmental quality objectives. Manage Quality Control staff in the execution of laboratory testing, inspections, and quality verification activities. Review and analyze QC testing results, communicating findings and recommendations to cross‑functional teams and customers when appropriate. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of Quality Control systems and implement improvements to optimize laboratory performance. Review and approve specifications for raw materials, packaging components, in‑process materials, and finished products. Approve the disposition of raw materials, in‑process products, and the final release of finished goods in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Oversee the laboratory equipment calibration program and ensure production measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained. Serve as the primary liaison with third‑party testing laboratories and calibration/certification service providers, ensuring timely and compliant external quality services. Qualifications Must have a BA or BS Degree, Chemistry / Biology or related Sciences; preferred MA or MS Chemistry / Biology or related Sciences. Must have at least 5 years of quality assurance & analytical supervisory skills in a CGMP environment or manufacturing facility. Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Must be able to effectively lead and motivate others.
