Full-Time | Base + Uncapped Commission | Daily Local Travel | Lead From the Front

Trelevate is hiring a hands-on Outside Sales Team Manager to build, train, and lead a team of B2B Business Advisors as we continue to expand into Illinois. This is a true field leadership role — you and your team will spend the majority of the week in the territory , meeting business owners, driving activity, and producing daily wins.

This is a true field leadership role—not an individual contributor position. You'll build, coach, and develop a team of B2B Advisors while leading by example in the field.

What You’ll Do

• Build, train, and manage a team of 7+ B2B field sales advisors
• Spend the majority of your week in the field coaching, shadowing, and closing
• Drive daily activity standards and accountability across your territory
• Conduct in-person meetings with business owners to uncover cost-reduction opportunities
• Demonstrate consultative selling and teach your team how to win consistently
• Ramp quickly — this role requires urgency, discipline, and a hunter’s mentality
• Create a performance-driven culture built on hustle, coaching, and results

What You Bring

• Proven success leading, mentoring, or training door-to-door field sales teams, with a focus on daily activity standards, field coaching, and sales performance
• Strong background in outside sales: energy procurement (ideal), telecom, merchant services, or similar
• Ability to coach in real time, build trust fast, and elevate performance daily
• Passion for building a positive, energetic team culture where people feel valued, have fun, and are inspired to perform at their best
• Hunter/Closer mentality with a passion for developing talent
• Strong CRM and technology proficiency
• High discipline, high urgency, and a team-first leadership style

What You’ll Get

• Base Pay + Uncapped Commission First-year earnings: $80K–$125K+ depending on drive and team performance
