Job Opportunity

Join our dynamic team in a Seasonal and Travel role within a busy Surgical Department focusing on Spine and Total Joint procedures.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Unit Details:

Number of Operating Rooms: 3 for Spine and Joint, 9 for Spine and Joint, and 4 for the International Hip Preservation Center
Staffing: Approximately 60 staff members, including one Charge RN and one Unit Secretary on the Day Shift
Daily Room Coverage: 8-11 rooms staffed Monday through Friday, with weekend call only
Night Call: 5 PM - 11 PM, Monday through Friday; no overnight shifts required

We utilize advanced equipment in our spine and joint procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 6 months current hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Active BLSD, DORA, and NBSTA Certifications
Experience with large spinal fusions, including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Spine Scrub
Experience in Joint Scrub

Typical Procedures:

Spine Fusions
ALIFS
All Spine Cases
Total Joint Replacement

Unit Guidelines:

On-call duty is required with a 30-minute response time
Scrubs will be provided for OR and CST personnel
